We flew today!

Daniel passed his private pilot's license exam on Saturday and is now officially a helicopter pilot! Today he got to fly me for the first time, I'd never even been in a helicopter before. I'll admit I was a little nervous at first but it was SO much fun!! We flew to Philadelphia and the city looked so beautiful from up above even on a hazy day, we're hoping to fly to New York next week! I'm so proud of how hard Daniel has worked and so excited to be able to fly with him. He is such an amazing person and husband. I love seeing how excited he gets about any little helicopter thing, I love seeing him so happy! Here are some pics and videos from our flight.

Taking off. . .

Happy halloween!

I'm really glad that Daniel makes a very ugly woman . . .

Rocky was supposed to guard these pretzels but as you can see, fell asleep on the job.

Happy happy birthday Daniel!

My sweetheart turned 23 today!

The great thing about having your birthday on Sunday - you get multiple days to celebrate. Wednesday we went to Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian steakhouse and by far the fanciest restaurant we've ever been to. 15 different kinds of meat and all extremely delicious. It was quite out of our price range but that's what birthdays are for right? At least we got the $8 birthday ice cream for free!

Today I made Daniel breakfast, we went to church, and had ice cream cake I made - layer of funfetti cake and of course our favorite, graham slam. We watched movies all day and I made his favorite honey lime enchiladas for dinner, then we went to Belmont Plateau in the park - its a really beautiful view of the city, although my phone doesn't take the greatest night pictures.

Daniel opening his presents. He humored me by pretending he was surprised about the ipad he got 2 months ago.

Building his lego helicopter and relaxing with Rocky.

And here's some random photos from the past little bit.

so i've been looking for count chocula for nine months now and we finally found the last box at target- apparently they only sell it at halloween now, so i'll have to stock up before it goes away!

and here's our little monkey getting his morning workout. he did this about 15 times that day.
