It's been a long time since my last blog, and needless to say a lot has happened. I've been settling into my new job, which is going good! It was a bit of an adjustment getting used to the long days but I love having Fridays off! It's a nice feeling actually having a day to clean the house, do laundry, and buy groceries. Now the only thing is figuring out time to cook since I don't get home til 8pm. This week I made a whole bunch of crockpot meals and froze them, so we'll see how that goes. The holidays were great - it was so nice to be able to stay home for the holidays and still be able to see family. It was really stressful last year traveling all over the place, plus it was so fun to have Christmas at home! Daniel and I also celebrated our 2nd anniversary in Seattle - I can't believe its been two years, and at the same time I can't believe its only been two years. 2012 was a crazy year for us with lots of changes, and we're hoping that this year is wonderfully boring.
A chilly hike on Sauvie Island on New Years Day
Thanksgiving= got to see both families and get lots of nephew loving, and our peanut butter banana nutella pie won!!!
Christmas = my first real tree, our first Christmas at home, lights at the Grotto, ornament making!
And our trip to Seattle = ferry ride, fish market, lunch @ the space needle = 3 days of bliss. I love my husband.
And . . . the biggest yummiest donut ever.
What were those ornaments made of? They sure looked tasty to the little ones, they kept eating them:)
