My graduate

So my wish at the beginning of this year was that it would be a boring year.  So far that has not come true, hence the nonexistent blogging.  But I'm trying to learn to trust more in the Lord's plan and accept when our plans don't work out.  A few weeks ago we went to Utah for Daniel's graduation which was soooo exciting!  He has worked so incredibly hard and we're very blessed that he already has a great job in his field.  It was great getting to visit family and friends in Utah and a few of our favorite spots.  We are both very glad school is over for Daniel (for now at least), although there are always plenty more things to keep us busy!

Last week we went to the tulip festival with my sister and her family.  Unfortunately the absolutely BEAUTIFUL weather we've been having destroyed all the tulips early, sooooooo yeah. Pretty disappointing paying to see a bunch of dead flowers.  But we had fun with our nephews and enjoyed some games and photo-ops.

  1. We were at the tulip festival two weeks ago and it was still quite lush. Crazy how quickly that changed! Check out the tigard hot air balloon festival in June, its always fun.
